While we’re deep in the midst of our owner, Gary Callier’s, kitchen remodel (cabinets have been installed, floors refinished and countertops are ordered!), we thought we’d rewind a bit and show you some of the kitchens we’ve used to inspire this whole process AND some of the actual materials we’ve selected for Gary’s new kitchen.
This kitchen below represents the casual, farmhouse-y yet elegant feel that Gary and his wife are going for in their new kitchen. White painted cabinets, a rustic island and vintage accessories to bring a farmhouse sensibility to the space.
The tall white cabinets, dark countertops, wood island and subway tile seen in the kitchen belowe are all elements in Gary’s future kitchen.
The cabinets Gary selected will be more rustic and have more detail than those pictured below, but they have selected a dark grey granite countertop (in a matte finish!), black drawer pulls, and a tile backsplash for lots of contrast.
Without further ado, here are a few of the products and finishes selected for Gary’s kitchen:
They selected these barstools from Crate & Barrel to add an industrial element to the space.
Check back on the blog next week to see some of the progress in the kitchen! And . . . follow us on facebook and instagram to see more behind the scenes.
